Seeking Medical Professionals For A Paid Study
Qualifications to participate in this study
PSYCHIATRISTS:
- Board certified or board-eligible psychiatrist
- Standard security screen
- Practiced in specialty between 3-30 years
- Do not practice in Vermont
- 75% or more of professional time is devoted to direct patient care
- Treat more than 50 adult patients with Major Depressive Disorder in a typical month
- More than 8 patients treated for being at imminent risk of suicide or harbored
- In-patient psychiatrists – spend at least 25% of time doing psych consults
- Comfortable and have enough experience to discuss topic in detail
**Has not participated in research on depression in past 3 months**
SOCIAL WORKERS/PSYCHOLOGISTS:
- Licensed and working full time
- Working full time as a social worker for at least 3 years and not more than 30 years
- Work with or see more than 50 adult patients with major depressive disorder in a typical month
- Work with or see at least 5 adults who have been at imminent risk of suicide or harbored suicide ideations, attempts, plans or committed suicide
- Comfortable and have enough experience to discuss topic in detail
- Past participation – 3 months on depression
HOTLINE WORKERS:
- Current/past volunteer at least 40 hours and 6 months
- Have worked with at least 5 adults who have been at imminent risk of suicide or suicidal ideations
- Comfortable and have enough experience to discuss topic in detail
- Past participation – 3 months on depression
